Organization XIII

What does that say to you.
To me is says 1. A group of beings, 12 males 1 female, who live between Castle Oblivion and The World that Never Was in the video game series Kingdom Hearts. 2. My obsession for the last 3 years.

But after this past weekend...after this past 8 months I started seeing a different meaning behind it.
I am seeing a project a year in the making, one I joined half way through. I have slowly made friends and interacted with the members in this particular group. I also had the pleasure of hanging out with alot of the members during AnimeBoston and AnimeNEXT of this year.
This past weekend I went to headquarters.
A house in PA were, and I'm delighted to say, I met amazing friends which I hope I'll know forever. This past weekend has been short but one of the best times I've had in forever.

So here its coming. Otakon 2008. I've talked about it in my past journals ad expressed my utter excitement for this project, for this family. 3 week count down.

I have gotten a taste of what Otakon is gonna be like, I have seen our Xemnas in his full uniform, and it is the best thing since sliced bread.
Each person has so much irony with their characters it personally scares me. Vexen is an ice artist, Marly's house has plants EVERYWHERE, and I will add that it smells GREAT, Xigbar's stash of numberless nerf guns...and his ability to get up on roof tops and climb on walls, Lexaeus quiet, tall and broad, Xemnas's tall stature and ego, Demyx is hyper and talks endlessly about music, Saix's loyalty and Axel's bubblyness. There are so many things.

I cannot wait for this con and to see how everyone reacts to this group.

I can finally say I'm proud to be in an Organization made up of 13 individuals- of 13 friends, and WE. ARE. GONNA. ROCK. THIS. CON.
